Unemployment rose to 10.8% in July, up from 10.7% in June. The not-so-significant change seems to be the beginning of a trend in Polish employment. The Polish Labour Minister Jolanta Fedak expects the rate to climb to 12-13% by the end of the year, continuing the upward trend. This prediction is in line with that of the experts. Due to the economic growth in 2010, the rate is expected to fall to 11.2% by the end of next year.
